Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Monday claimed that the activities of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders are increasingly distancing them from the people of Delhi. He alleged that over the past week, AAP leaders have been indulging in political theatrics in the name of funeral processions and shrouds.
Kapoor said that even on Monday, AAP leaders took out a funeral procession outside the Vidhan Sabha building in the name of the “death of democracy,” which he described as highly condemnable.

The Delhi BJP spokesperson added that the Assembly is a temple of democracy, and attempting to enter it with a mock funeral procession is a reprehensible act that hurts public faith.
Kapoor further said that ahead of the Delhi Budget session on Monday, the Delhi government initiated the practice of preparing and serving kheer.
During this, by accusing the BJP government of taking credit for the previous government’s work—and even “stealing credit” from a cook—AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has made himself a subject of ridicule, he said.
He claimed that all this was done because Delhi’s Home Minister Ashish Sood on Monday exposed in the House how the fire brigade service had been ruined over the past 10 years under the Arvind Kejriwal government.
